In the period of December 11-13, 2007 the "CMB" Training Center participated in the GK3 Event on the future organized by the Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!
"CMB" Training Center is a member of GKP since August 2006 and it has been represented in Kuala Lumpur by Veronica Cretu - President of the "CMB", Nicu Cretu - "CMB" Director, Eva Tanner and Vladimir Radunovic - main YLCD project partners from DiploFoundation, Malta, Adela Danciu - partner from Romania representing APTI and Elena Jidobin participant in the YLCD program from "ILO HIV/AIDS policies at the work place" program in Moldova. Besides, we were proud to have during the session one of the Young Social Entrepreneurs at GK3, the only Young Social Entrepreneur from Moldova, Igor Casapu - leading the CTAM Steaua and the "Different" night club in Chisinau.
The simulation exercise organized by the "CMB" team during its "Facilitating Innovative Approach to Community Development" Workshop was primarily based on the "Youth Leaders for Community Development through Internet Governance" project results that is being implemented by the "CMB since May 2007.
Along with bringing innovative approaches to Kuala Lumpur, the CMB team managed to bring some moldovan traditions as well: we have welcomed our participants to the workshop with bread and salt and with home-made wine, we played some traditional, folk music for our participants as well as took them to a tour around Moldova via a Power Point Presentation.
