- Learn about the "Youth Leaders for Community Development through Internet Governance" project methodology;
- To discuss issues related to community development through a multistakeholder and multidisciplinary perspective;
- To discuss new project ideas related to Community Development;
- To analyze and propose solutions and recommendations
Participants in our session will play 4 main roles: The Government, Civil Society, Business Sector and International Donor Community. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Only by joining us in the above described session, you will also be able to get familiar with some Moldovan customs and traditions, taste some Moldovan home-made wine and bread, see Moldovan traditional clothes and listen to some famous Moldovan music.
* For the 16 participants, who will engage in the simulation exercise, we have prepared some special presents from Moldova.

EP12: Emerging People Workshop: Facilitating Innovative Approach to Community Development

In this workshop we will share a research methodology implemented by a multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder team as well as the research results accomplished in Moldova during April to November 2007 for a particular approach to Community Development. Participants in our session are expected to engage in active simulation to fully understand this innovative approach, in order to discuss and value-add to the process of establishing best practices to ensure youth involvement in community development.
Our workshop will address the following key questions:
- How do we empower Youth Leaders and communities through inclusion?
- What does multi-disciplinary or multi-stakeholder learning and creativity for innovation involve?
- What technology policies must be considered for Community Development?
- How can national dialogue platforms for different stakeholders and community groups help?

This underground wine city appeared in galleries excavated in lime mining operations during the 70-es of the last century, at the depth of 40-85 meters, and is one of the largest wine cellars in the world.
